The Tools

I use a combination of Tarot decks, from the traditional Rider Waite SMITH to more modern decks like the Muse Tarot and Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne to tune into the energies that are at play. I also use a variety of specialized Oracles, and may even cast charms to try to give these energies a variety of ways to come through.

The Method

Before I sit to read I cleanse my space and mind and meditate on the cards while shuffling. I might cleanse with incense, a smoke bundle, ringing an antique bell (sorry neighbors.. teehee) or some splashes of Florida Water. It’s important to me to enter into a reading with the intention or questions that are requested, but also stay open to any energies that want to come forward.

The Messages

I read Tarot intuitively which means that I combine the traditional meanings of the cards with any other clues, thoughts, images, and impressions that I receive.

I always ask my guides to “Show me what I need to see to say what I need to say”. This way I know that even if I don’t personally understand the significance of what I may be saying in a reading, then it should still make sense to you.
